Deviation

The deviation parameter allows for including all reflections that are closer to the Ewald sphere than a adjustable value. The thicker the specimen the smaller the value of the deviation parameter since the reciprocal rods size depends on the inverse of the crystal thickness. Large values of this parameter will produce overlapping Laue zones.
