Holography

The Holography controls introduces a biprism in the image formation and allows to simulate HRTEM holograms (Fig. 1).

The toolbar contains tool buttons to:

The biprism controls set the biprism voltage and rotation of the biprism wire (Fig. 1).

The diffraction controls change some parameters controlling the diffraction plot (Fig. 2).

Applying an arbitrary voltage to the wire, electron holograms are obtained (Fig. 3).

Fourier transform of the hologram show the typical diffractogram of electron holography (without the Fresnel fringes due to the wire). (Fig. 4). These simulation can applied to more experimentaly important experiment, like imaging voids (Fig. 5, Fig. 6).
