Image shift is the first order wavefront aberration W11 (C01 or I) that makes the interference pattern shift sideways (Fig. 3). When W11 is 0, the colored dots mark the position of the atomic columns. When there is some W11 aberration the image contrast are shifted off the atomic columns position.
The amplitude and direction of W11 are adjusted on the HREM pane of the Blochwaver, on the HREM map and Super-cell panes of the Multislicer. W11 can also be set (like all Aberrations from W00 to W88) with the wavefront Aberrations and transfer function windows.
