Image stack

An image stack accumulates series of images of identical type and size in a pile making 3-D volumes. Image stacks are created by CBED or multislice calculations. They are automatically called when an image of filename ending with a 4 digits sequence number (for example _0000) is loaded. Note that the sequence must be preceded by the underscore character (_) and that the _ must not be present in the filename, except in front of the sequence number. To name files used instead the java style java where the first letter of composed name is capitalized (i.e. myImageFile_0000.png).

Image stacks of electron channeling be scanned along Oz, Ox or Oy directions.

The slider that scans the images of the stack is activated with the toolbox toolbox tool button.

For CBED image stacks, the info button overlays kinematically calculated HOLZ lines in order to help indexing the lines.

Some stacks can be scanned along Ox, Oy or Oy directions.
