Keyboard keys can be used to control several jems components like contrast transfer function, diffraction pattern, stereogram, etc. Keyboard keys are also used to save and print the windows, the console, the error log and the main jems window.

These 4 keyboard arrows control the movement of features drawn in a graphics component. The displacement's speed is controlled by the Alt, Ctrl and Shift mask keys.
