This frame allows to define the wave function or nanoprobe at the specimen top. Aberrations up to order 8 can be set
either using sliders or text fields. The coherence tab allows to set the energy spread of the electrons
as well as the lens and current stability.

The defocus value can be set using the up and down arrow keys when the mouse is placed in the intensity drawing of the Microscope tab. This
tab contains two sets of controls for adjusting the aperture diameter, the chromatic aberrion (W00) and the virtual source
size and the thermal magnetic noise.

When a uniform illumination is selected (Fig. 4), the beam-half convergence
sets the size of the probe.

A uniform illumination for CBED or nanodiffraction is selected using the Imaging tab of the Nano-diffraction calculation.
